By funding improvements in the Centre’s services and facilities, DBJEF significantly contributes to the health and well-being of the aging population in Quebec. We believe that every resident should benefit from innovative geriatric care and live a life of dignity and well-being at the Centre.
Donald Berman Jewish Eldercare is home to 288 residents, living with late-stage dementia and/or other illnesses which are primarily aging-related. The long-term care facility, affiliated with McGill University, is located in Cote Des-Neiges, Quebec, and is part of the Integrated Health and Social Services University Network (CIUSSS) for West-Central Montreal. The staff and volunteers provide care to make sure that residents feel heard, feel safe, and feel cared for. Families also play a crucial role in our residents’ well-being.
